By-Laws

Article I - NAME: The name of the organization shall be "Weevil City Cruisers"

Article II - PURPOSE: The Weevil City Cruisers shall be a non-profit organization for family oriented activities involving intrest or ownership of antique, classic, modern or other cars and trucks

Article III - VEHICLES: All club related vehicles shall be built and operated in such a manner as to reflect credit to the member and the Weevil City Cruisers

Article IV - OFFICERS: The officers of the club shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.  Officers will be appointed by members at large at the end of each year around or about the month of January, during the monthly meeting

DUTIES of the Officers:

President - Shall provide leadership; open and close club meetings; announce proper sequence of business; recognize members entitled to floor; appoint members to special activities or programs; approve all financial agreements above $100.00 with the Treasurer

Vice-President - Shall preside over meeting in the absence of the President; oversee all committees; update President on committee activities; approve financial agreements in the absence of the President

Secretary - Keep membership roll; in the absence of the President and Vice-President preside over club meetings; Record and read club minutes at each meeting; keep club members informed of current information about the club and it's activities; Keep the club scrapbook up dated on club activities

Treasurer - Collect dues and revenue for the Club; Keep accurate records; have records available at club meeting if requested for review; maintain checking account in the clubs name at local bank; give financial report at each meeting

Article V - MEMBERSHIP: Each member is responsible for upholding a good community standing; Members should make every effort to attend all meetings and club activities; Active mebership denotes that all dues and fees are paid in full; A family membership will include spouse and minor children

Article VI - DUES: Dues shall be $20.00 per year and due the first meeting in January; All dues not paid by the regular meeting in March will be considered delinquent and the member will be dropped from the roll; New members joining after July 1st shall have dues prorated to $10.00 for that year

Article VII - BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Board of Directors shall consist of all elected officer as stated in Article IV plus members at large appointed by the President

Article VIII - The name "WEEVIL CITY CRUISERS" and any club funds accumulated will remain the exclusive property of the club; Any club member who leaves the club for any reason will not have claim to the club name or club funds

Article IX - In the event the club dissolves or disbands, the last order of business will be to liquidate any club assets and to distribute any remaining funds to charity as deemed by a majority vote of members present

Article X - NO ALCOHOL or TOBACCO products will be promoted by this club
